September 7, 2012:   The McKinley Grand is completely SOLD OUT for RomantiCon® 2012. Please call the hotel for information and rates on their overflow hotel. The McKinley Grand will provide free shuttle service between the main site and the overflow site. Ellora's Cave will provide lockers so overflow attendees can securely store their purchases and belongings.

 

 August 28, 2012: Meet our new Cavemen, Bryan and Justin! Both will be attending R-Con this year. Also back with us is the ever-popular Cole. Lastly, John Lee had to bow out due to scheduling conflicts, but continues to represent EC and hopes to be at RomantiCon® next year!

 April 7, 2012: The RomantiCon® 2012 chat group is open to all registered guests. This is a great way to make friends with other attendees long before the convention even begins! For your convenience, Val or Tara also post all major news updates in the group. The best way to stay in the loop is to join it!

April 5, 2012: Back by popular demand (already!) Forget the last update... you spoke and we heard you so the Pizza & PJs party will feature bingo instead of karaoke. Karaoke has been moved to Thursday night's Bad Girls of Romance meet 'n greet!

April 1, 2012: We've decided to shake things up a bit during our annual Sunday night Pizza & PJs party. Instead of playing bingo, we're singing karaoke! Get ready to strut your stuff or make everyone laugh. Bring your earplugs if Jaid decides to sing ;)

April 1, 2012: Rather than have two seated dinners, we have decided to appease everyone's tastes by offering a buffet dinner Friday night and a seated dinner Saturday night! Once we release the menu, all registered attendees will be emailed and asked to choose their entrée and dessert for Saturday night. A form will also be added to this site to submit your selections just in case some emails get lost in cyberspace. We will do our very best to contact you, but bear in mind that if we are unable to reach you after 3 attempts we will have to select your meal for you.

March 20, 2012: RomantiCon® will have seated dinners this year (yay!) so you don't have to wait in endless lines to get your meal. March 17, 2012: We've got lots of updates to report! A Cave Chaos spotlight has been added to Thursday's schedule, the navigation page has been refined, and we've got bios and photos up for our final 3 Cavemen. March 2, 2012: Hotel rooms can only be booked by telephone at 330-454-5000. You must indicate you are attending RomantiCon® in order to reserve your room. Please note that if you do not indicate you are attending the convention you will be told that the hotel is sold out.

 

February 23, 2012: Some changes and additions have been made to the Games & SEXtras™ line-up and/or times. Among other things, Lap Dancing will not be taught this year due to a scheduling conflict with the Lap instructor at Cleveland Exotic Dance so we're replacing that SEXtra™ with last year's very popular Burlesque class! 

 

February 10, 2012: We want to encourage everyone interested in attending R-Con to register and reserve their hotel room as early as possible. Registrations are flying in at an astounding rate! Once we're sold out, registration will be closed down.

 

January 23, 2012: We have posted an extremely preliminary schedule for the Games & SEXtras™ that will be offered at R-Con this year. We wanted to give you an idea of what to expect, but please be aware that times & precise details are subject to change!

 

January 22, 2012: Happy 40th birthday to EC owner & founder, Jaid Black! You launched a new genre and gave voice to the female sexual experience. Many have imitated you, but nobody can duplicate you. We love you, Jaid!

 

January 20, 2012: Raelene Gorlinsky, your favorite publisher and fascinator hat lady, won't be attending R-Con this year. Our 2012 convention is occurring at the same time as the Frankfurt Book Fair so Fräulein Gorlinsky will be representing EC in Germany!

 

January 12, 2012: We accidentally listed the wrong phone number for booking your hotel reservations. (Sorry!) The correct number for reservations is 330-454-5000! Room Rates: 1-2 ppl in a room = $102 per night, 3 ppl in a room = $122 per night, and 4 ppl in a room = $142 per night.

 

January 5, 2012: We are holding a weekly drawing from now through Valentine's Day for all registered, paid in full RomantiCon® guests! Every week we'll be giving away an E-Cave reader to one lucky recipient. The earlier you register, the more chances you have to win. Good luck and see you in October!

 

 

January 1, 2012: Caveman Kory will not be attending RomantiCon® this year (we're sorry!) Unfortunately the Frankfurt Book Fair is taking place at the same time as our convention so the K-man will be representing Ellora's Cave over in Germany while we're partying our booties off. We do plan to have him on site for the 2013 convention!

 

December 7, 2011: RomantiCon® is being held at the McKinley Grand Hotel in Canton, Ohio. If you receive any solicitous phone calls from a different hotel claiming RomantiCon® is being held at their establishment instead, hang up on them! Bear in mind that anything not on this website is a myth, rumor, and/or a deliberate misrepresentation by people not connected to the staff and owners of Ellora's Cave.
